This is an interesting year

Post by jwr2 »

I know we are supposed to stay away from politics ... but I think I can make a point that will not offend anyone at all ...

This is an interesting historic year ...

I won't tell you to which side I am leaning ...

But this is an interesting year where whichever side wins you will either get a woman or an African American in the White house.

And, either way a Senator will become President for the first time in 48 years. Truly, it is a different year.

Those comments are fine I think; they don't advocate one way or another, they're just observations. :D

I don't intend to be offensive, and don't mean this as an attack or implication, but I feel compelled to make a point about a lot of stuff I am hearing(not here)about the candidates. I think a lot of people are looking at the wrong things.

I don't find these things "interesting" as you say, and wonder why 2 times you have made mention that you are a big fan of one ticket, but won't say who. Vote for who you want, it's your right, and one of many I have fought for. If you're going to make statements you have no intention of answering, why bother?

I just see 4 people running for the White house. I don't think Race, Sex,Creed, or Age should have any relevance except to those who wish to use these classifications for their own agendas. May the best people get these jobs and hopefully they can actually do something to benefit the country.

Paul, you're coming to MARF aren't you? If so, I'll teach you how to play bottles. Otherwise it will have to wait until I'm in SoCal in November :D
