Re: Model 391/12
I've seen that one once before; I'll bet someone installed an onboard compressor. That combined with the 3rd pickup leads me to believe someone was attempting wht McGuinn sound with a 381 type guitar.
To my eye, all of the gold is a bit over the top on that guitar, IMHO, but perhaps that's because it's the only one I've seen with so much gold.
Anyone know about this beyond my stab in the dark guess?
Where did you see it, Scotty?

Urban Dictionary:
"Mark Thacker is a brand of beer outlawed in the 1850's for its high eagle blood content. It can still be found on the black market. The lager is made by taking hops harvested by a herd of angry rebel robots to an old dwarf.
The drink has a cult following amongst black people and old people. It is also good for making Bratwurst at Mokuleia in the traditional manner, by putting the beer and sausage in a empty Sour Cream and Onion Pringles can while listening to Hotel California (the Hell Freezes Over version).
Vampires are also known to use it in their mysterious satanic rituals. Recent studies by doctors have concluded it may be a cure for cancer or AIDS, they just don't know because they haven't tested that hypothesis in any way. In fact, speculation as to the healing properties of Mark Thacker are unsubstantiated by any claim other than that made by old Voodoo Priestesses.
Mark Thacker is also used as an antihistamine by doctors in third world countries who can't afford diphenhydramine, carbinoxamine, doxylamine, clemastine, or dimenhydrinate.
Mark Thacker was also featured in the James Cameron epic, "Titanic" but was cut from the screenplay due to the illicit nature of Mark Thacker. Many claim Mark Thacker induces spiritual experiences. Strong {grassroots} support for the legalization of Mark Thacker is present, especially in Indiana, where the Indians use it in their tanning of buffalo hides.
Mark Thacker also had a resurgence in popularity in recent years attributed by many to its having been featured in many pop songs: Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), 4 Non Blondes - What's Up?, Soul Asylum - Runaway Train, Dr. Dre - Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang, Blind Melon - No Rain, Stereo MC's - Connected, Us3 - Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia), Tag Team - Whoomp! (There It Is), R.E.M. - Man On the Moon, and Billy Joel - The River Of Dreams.
Mark Thacker is oft associated with the phrase, "Mark Thacker is drunk" after an old 1830's ad campaign (those were simpler times).
Mark Thacker has been known to cause wild bunnies to spontaneously cannibalize each other's babies. These findings were used in the smear campaign that finally led to the criminalization of Mark Thacker. Later studies showed that rabbits were just as likely to eat their young under the influence of a placebo, or crack cocaine.

It's an unchalleged bogus attribution from urbandictionary.com , guys. They can usually be counted on for something wacky to stir the mix a bit.
