Re: Welcome Greg Rahilly
Thank-you everyone for your kind words, your support is greatly acknowledged........and needed! And ,of course, thank-you Peter for offering me the chance to be involved in one of the best guitar based forums on the net! I hope to repay your confidence in me many times over!
Having joined this forum early in 2005 after stumbling across it.......the welcome i received from forumites back then was so warm and friendly, i'm still here! I actually believe i live here sometimes! The friendships i have formed with, firstly, all the Melbourne-based forumites are amazing, as i consider them to be among my closest friends. Secondly, our international visitors have also become firm friends,as we all keep in constant contact!
I envisage this new Australian chapter as a vehicle for you all to catch a glimpse of life downunder.....our music, our lifestyle and not forgetting our warped sense of humour! It will also attempt to show you,if it wasn't already obvious, just how popular Mr. Halls guitars are here! Hopefully we will draw many more Aussie Rickenbacker enthusiasts out of the woodwork!
Again, thanks everyone, and please enjoy the Land of Oz!

Good onya, mate!
As one of those international visitors to "down under" I can attest to the warm friendly hospitality and the great interest in all things Rickenbacker.
Some of my best friends are from Australia. (Howard thinks they are the only ones who will put up with me )
Congrats Greg. Make us proud.

Re: Welcome Greg Rahilly
Thanks for clearing up those misconceptions Kira.
But......................
a few days ago a jogger was savagely bashed and assaulted by a kangaroo.
Don't laugh.
This is 100% true.
An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital where about a dozen stitches were required for his head wounds. He was also quite sore from the kicking he received.

Good work Greg, it will be great to have our little corner to share new Ric sightings, "for sales" and blatant self promotion. Looking forward to it.
