Hurricane Kyle...

Post by wints »

To Peter, and the other Nor' Easters...

I hope you are somewhat prepared for this rarity! It should weaken, but stay safe!

Thanks, we are locking things down.

I had to do a double take when I read a Yahoo headline that said where this hurricane was going.
I hope everyone in Kyle's path is prepared and gets through it just fine.

It may be hitting as a Category 1 folks. Lots of rain for us (about 4-6 inches) and it will be on the windy side.

While I suspect that this type of storm may not get much attention further south, it is certainly under scrutiny here.

It is currently about three hours away and the rain is beginning to get quite heavy. On the positive side, yard work normally scheduled for late October got done today.

That is very good news, especially if you needed the rain. :D

Great news, Peter! Though "just rain" can be pretty devastating - we got about a foot of rain here from Ike. Flooding for a week. Glad you all fared just fine, and the fall cleanup is already done!
