New to me..... a 620/6 Desert Gold

Post by fireglo67 »

It's here boys and girls!

I've been playing it all day, it's amazing. I didn't really appreciate just how different this model is to my 330/6 until today. It's got loadsa balls and has sustain to die for. Lovely.

Here is the first opening of the case as promised.

Wow, that's a great looking guitar! Somehow, watching the case opening on video made it almost as exciting as if it were mine. Well, probably not, bit it was pretty cool! Congratulations on the new Desert Gold!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Congratulations Rob, looking good! I liked the tender way you laid it out on the bed and panned up and down the body

That's great, Rob.... Thanks for sharing the opening of the case--that was pretty special! And what a great-looking guitar! Now you'll have to post another video of yourself playing it! :D

Congratulations again! :D :D :D

Rob, that was brilliant!

We've had plenty of photo essays depicting the arrival of a new Rickenbacker, but your video is a first, according to my memory. :D

You've done well and ought to feel as proud as punch to be the new owner.

Okay, Rob has raised the bar now, everyone. I expect to see the next new arrival unveiled in 3D vision!

Mateybob.....Which side of the bed does the 620 get to sleep on? Just curious. Cool score, cool unveiling --- props to you. Regards.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

I now have to sleep on the floor, there's no room in my bed, it's full of Rics!
