First welcome, Claude.

The price seems very fair to me, depending on the condition.

As long as it's in good condition, it's a good price.

How does it compare in sounds and playability to a regular 360 or 330??

It will have a slightly less curved fretboard with a crown radius of 12", as opposed to the 360 crown radius of 10". It will have the 12k Toasters instead of the Hi-gains. Other than that, sound and playability ought to be similar.

Interesting; I did not know this. I thought the model had the standard modern Ric fretboard radius of 10". Thanks for the info. :D

Kris: Here is a copy of one of the original RIC pages which has a crown radius listed at 10".

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Neat, Peter, I've never seen the original one sheet for the V '64.

Peter -

Here is a copy of the sheet I made in June, 1999, by cutting and pasting from the RIC website. This shows the 360/12V64 having a crown radius of 12".

Bizarre, Peter's one sheet and Kris's are identical except for the crown radius, including the description. Is it possible the later models were changed, or is one of the sheets guilty of a misprint?

Perhaps John Hall will reflect on what he knows.

This poor one fell of it's stand.

At the rock and Roll Hall of Fame they have one of Carl Wilson's Rick 12 strings. It was origianlly fireglo and he stripped it down to mapleglo. You can still see the fireglo in the hard to reach areas. It looked awesome stripped.

It depends upon the year, as those made toward the end of 1999 and on would have the vintage-spec Toasters as opposed to the hotter Toasters before that.
