Stamped Aluminum TRC's - Question for the experts

Post by sashua »

I have a 1960 beater 425 with an absolutely mint Aluminum Truss Cover. You know the ones, those beautiful stamped ones.

Does anyone know if those TRC's were ever used on other models, like the Capris or 325's for instance?

I want to use this cover on another of my many projects if possible because it is so damn clean!

Thanks,
Russ

I've never seen one of these TRCs on a Capri or a 325, only on 425 and 450 models.

Other student-model Combos had them too, like the 900,950, and 1000.

Why not make the 425 a project?

Hey Kris,

Never been a big fan of the cresting wave Ricks. I may fix it up just to sell it or I may part it out.

So just the 425/450 and the student models for that TRC, eh?

See you soon at MARF!

I've never seen one of those aluminum TRC's, they sound interesting. Can someone post a picture?
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Hey, those are pretty cool! Thanks for posting that!
I used to think the plexi TRC's were the best looking, but I really like those aluminum ones.
