Nathaniel Mayer's tenor voice added spark to blues
Re: Nathaniel Mayer's tenor voice added spark to blues
Thanks for the link Brian. I have to confess this fellow never made it on my radar screen. That's the beauty of this forum. You can learn something new every day.

Re: Nathaniel Mayer's tenor voice added spark to blues
I had the opportunity to hang out with Nate for a weekend a while back. I'd booked a showcase for them in Las Vegas and was also their go to for everything, took him and the band out to dinner, drove em around.. etc.
Nate asked me to come up and play a song with the band before the show but it didn't happen (never called me up there.. I wasn't about to barge on their set and demand a guitar!). Afterwards he asked why I hadn't come up and jammed with them. Boy did I feel silly! Still do
Nate was an amazing guy and wonderfully talented... it was sad to see him go.
