I feel funny listing a video of my own band in "Rickenbacker Artists", since I'm just a guy who plays Ricks in a local band, but I didn't know where else to list this promo video that features one of our newest songs in its entirety. I wish we'd had it mixed a month earlier so I could have submitted it for consideration on the RRF2 CD. I used three Rickenbackers exclusively to record all of my guitar parts; a 381/12 in ROS/stereo directly into the board with some slight overdrive and compression, and my MG and TUR WBs through their standard jacks using a Danelectro "Daddy-O" Distortion pedal straight into the brilliant Channel on my AC 30 TB.
The video, unfortunately, does not show me playing any Ricks, as I had trouble getting my Rick not to feed back during the particular show that the footage was shot at and opted for my Gretsch Silver Jet instead, but that guitar isn't bad to look at either, and if a lack of Rick content is too much to take on its own, there is plenty of other eye candy in the form of bathing beauties and vintage motorcycles.
