Susanna Hoffs 660/12JG

Post by curtisongs »

Here's a shot of Susanna playing a 660/12 Jetglo. Seems that when she plays a 12 String in concert she goes to the 660/12. So did McGuinn when he played Steve Van Zandt's 660/12 Jetglo in concert with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftEnlS_l ... re=related . Everybody loves the 660/12!

Cool pic - maybe the wider neck is swaying more players to the 660/12 these days?

-Insert hackneyed Susanna Hoffs joke here-

Susanna looks good playing a 660/12...makes me proud to have the TP JG I do! TP's probably proud, too!

I recently played a brand new 660/12. The stock nut on these is less roomy than a custom nut I had made for a 360/12, narrower neck and all. I have owned four 12-strings, and found that I've had to replace the nut on every one of them. I don't think manufacturers spend enough time on this very important piece of the puzzle, and that includes everybody ! Luckily, I know someone who can cut a perfect nut for a 12-string, but you have to tell him exactly where to place the strings.

Not sure which is sexier, Ms Hoffs or the guitar she's playing. OK, I'm sure - I'll take the girl.

I'll take the guitar! I'm married and ya know? One woman in my life is more than enough, but I can always use another Rick!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Foolish or not, it's true! My wife will let me get more Ricks, but I'm sure she wouldn't be too pleased with another woman...

Unless, in my wife's own words, she was really dumb and liked to do housework...

I bought a 660 AFG and kind of wish i got a 660/12 since I mainly play the 360/6. The 660/12 seems like it would be nice with 12 strings due to the wider neck.

I heard Susanna and a few other Bangles were playing with Matthew Sweet out here (L.A.), is that from whence the picture comes?
