Original Owner 360/12

Post by Original360 »

I bought my guitar, a 360/12, in the spring of 1967 (forget the exact month). It became a working guitar. Played it in bars 4 hours a night. 3, 4, 5 nights a week. It payed the rent through the 60's and early 70's. I put it in the closet about 1976 where it's been until last weekend. I got it out, cleaned it up, put a new set of strings on it and have spent the last week trying to get reaquainted with an old friend. Then in looking around, I found this place. Just registered the guitar and hope to hang around awhile.

Yeah, that was a nice story. Welcome to the RRF, Bob. I'm a big 360/12 string fan, too.

Thanks. The build date from the SN is Nov 1966. I'll try to get some pictures up by the weekend.

I think it is great that there is a registry here, an attempt to record the history of these instruments.

It's been in the closet since 1976?!? Wow, Bob, here's an especially warm welcome to the canteen to you, brah. Really, 32 years has got to be record of sorts and a good one that! Why? Because you still have your 360/12. Man, this is something. Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.

Welcome Bob. Of course, we love pics, but I'll bet that guitar has some stories, and we'd love to hear them too. Cheers!
