4001 peghead pics

Post by thinneckrick »

I was wondering if some of my fellow rick nuts could post a headstock picks for me ? Im trying to figure out if the machine ferruls are the same with or without grovers. Does any body know if there is a difference ? im also looking for some Grover tuners and ferruls. Hopefully the ferruls are not different. It would narrow my search some. Thanks all.

The wavy Grovers had their own unique ferrules. I think they were made of aluminum. Not sure if other ferrules that RIC used over the years would work with the wavy Grovers or not.

Maybe try the current chrome RIC/Schaller ferrules if you can't find the originals?
