Crazy Weather in Houston

Post by wmthor »

Tuesday it was in the 70s and I was running the A/C. It was snowing yesterday afternoon and into the evening. This morning, it's 34 with the afternoon temps forecasted to be in the upper 50s.

Hey, that looks like nice weather! Really!

Up here in Northern Montana, tomorrow's forecast calls for snow with a high of 12F

Sunday is blowing snow, winds between 25 & 28 MPH, gusting to 39, 6 to 10 inches expected, high -13F

And Sunday night a low of -28F.

I guess winter had finally arrived!

We'll probably be driving near Houston very early tomorrow morning, from a gig in Austin tonight going to a gig in Shreveport,LA Saturday. Hope the weather's not too freaky.

Ronn, if I were going from Austin to Shreveport, I wouldn't be anywhere near Houston. Instead I'd take I-35N to Waco, catch Texas Highway 31 over to Kilgore, and then I-20 on into Shreveport.

Today, well, right now, it's -8F, blowing 25MPH and snowing. Drifts are only 4 to 5 ft high.

But it's warm in the house, the roast my wife is cooking smells delicious, and the Rick sounds just fine...
