Neck pickup for a 1967 360/12

Can I cut the pole pieces on the bottom of a toaster top pickup that is not flush on the bottom so I can mount it in the proper position on a 1967 360/12.

Rickenbacker does not sell flush bottom picups at this time.

You need a diamond saw to do it and the alnico will lose it's charge plus ,It will crack .I don't think it's a good idea.

Now an alternative is this ,look up Lindy Fralin and see if he would swap magnets with you ,he may just do that!

The shorty magnets are available as they are used in 1/4 pound Strat pickups.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
