I have a 360/12 and a 370. Faves of mine are Vox AC30 and Dr.Z Maz18Jr. Both guitars sound REMARKABLE in those amps. :D

One of my Vox AC30s, or else a Fender BF Twin Rev or BF Super Rev.

All tubers. Tried to bond with s/s amps but unsuccessful. I guess growing up at a time when everything was a tube amp might have somethin' to do with it.

On the go?.......portable early 80's Fender Super Champ.
Want blues?.......early 90's Mesa/Boogie Subway Blues.
Classic tones?.......'01 English-built VOX AC-15 TBR with Weber AlNiCo Blue Dog.
Mod tones?.......recent Rivera Sedona, the only all-tube acoustic/electric amp on the market.

Time to go and play through one of them. Ciao for now.......Goofyfoot.

Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Thanks guys. I have a friend in VA that is about to pick his 360 up and he was asking for suggestions. I have forwarded him all your suggestions. Thanks again.

I use a Peavey 212 Stereo Chorus. It has great sustain when needed and it sounds fantastic without using any outboard pedals. I use a 1971 Fender Twin Reverb for my 360 12 string. Loads of shimmer from that amp.

They are both heavy brutes though.

2 360's through a Musicman 210 HD 130,i've had it for 16 years ,very clean tone, it's the best amp i've ever owned .
But sadly for me it's for sale as my back can't take it anymore,
and i'm not gigging so its overkill at home volumes.
I'm thinking of getting a new Princeton.

VOX AC15 (with an optional V212BN extension cabinet) for larger "band" gigs.

Fender Super Champ XD (through a Bose L1 Portable Amplification system) for solo gigs.

Both are great!

I've had great luck with solid state amps with my 360. Last couple gigs with the band I've used a LAB Series L5 with good results, and lately I've been playing through a Acoustic 150 head with an Acoustic 104 6x10 cabinet, and I like that combination a lot too.

It's probably not what most people have in mind, but one time I ran it into a friend's Marshall JCM-800 half stack and cranked it up, and it sounded GREAT!!!

I've had good luck with a Roland Cube 60 (s/s), especially with a 1-12 (open back) or 2-12 extension cab (closed back). The Cube is nice cuz it's small. I've also used a '68 silverface Super Reverb with good results.

I used to have an Acoustic 150 which blew up regularly. It blowed up real good the last time in 1971.
