New Cover Track "Bag Full of Money"

Post by rubrsol97 »

In a continuing series of coast to coast recording collaborations

Mike McCullough and I have completed a new recording via the internet. The track?

"Bag Full of Money" by Jacques Levy and Roger McGuinn.

It showed up as a bonus track on the Byrds final CD Farther Along and also on one of Roger's solo albums.

It's so much fun re-creating and improvising new versions of these great songs... Hope you like it..

Mike: Lead and Harmony vocals, Martin 000-28H acoustic guitar, Ibanez bass guitar, and Pro Tools recording, mixing and mastering.

Brian: B Bender parts, RIC 12 string...recorded with CW Tele (with the new Velvet Hammer pickups), Ric 360/12, Janglebox compressor, Beta 57 mic, Fender Champion 600 amp, Line6 Toneport UX2 XLR mic input

Hey Brian, what's the trick to get the clips to play?

Hi Jim...

I just left-click on them and they play. Alternatively you should be able to right-click ro download them. Have you tried these without success?

Jim, I have a Mac Intel Pro, and couldn't play the tracks until I upgraded my Flip4Mac software. Maybe your WMA needs updating.

Brian: I really love your guitar work, both the Ric and B-Bender. Terrific instrumental arrangements.
