A Quick One: 430 serial numbers?

Post by kiramdear »

Hey all,

Just wondering where they located the serial number on a Rick 430 guitar. Who knows?

It would have been on the bridge baseplate. However, the previous owner installed that Bigsby and the baseplate at that time, had apparently been consigned to history's scrapbin, wherein reside at least a dozen of my own odd socks and quite a few ambihelical hex nuts...

I had the serial # for this instrument--it was OG3727. Must've been written somewhere.

Socks that get lost in the drier reside in an alternate universe...........I am firmly convinced of that now because they just seem to vaporize at random times for no apparent reason.

Looks like a fine aquisition Kira. How does it sound?

It sounds great for my style. Ringy, chunky mids, full of guts, sustain for days, needs a little treble boost when effects are used. Limited in palette compared with my 320 but what it does it does very well. No complaints at all 8) Keith Richard would like this guitar.

I would have guessed the neck plate on the back of the body, but I guess that's just the 200 series.
