The recent John Mayall promo pic shows that. Is it a RIC guitar, "customshop"???

Hard to tell without seeing whether there is an R tailpiece, but it is most likely a modded model 450. If it has an R tailpiece, then it would be a modded model 610.

I'd say it's 450 as the neck appears to stop right at the body join. I think a 610 neck overhangs the body a little (by a fret maybe).

Yes, they have different profiles. That appears to be a 450.

Right here on this site at http://www.rickresource.com/rrp/twelveartists.html it lists Mayall as playing a 450/12 custom. I'd like to see more photos of it, it's interesting.
