ok not quite,but check out the rehearsal photos for the "imagine a cure" benefit show on alanwhite.net/news.html#. its one of the last photos in group 2. chris is playing a very trippy looking bass (rittor,perhaps?) it's actually a really cool looking bass. sorry i could not get it to link directly....

i think it is actually a RITTER bass,these are pricey instruments! ($5000-7000 for a 4 string). this was a rehearsal photo,i wonder if chris was borrowing someone else's bass for that? hopefully there will be some more video documentation of the live performance.....

BUT, back to the RItter thing, I've seen them around for a while. They have a loyal following....they're in Alembic territory price wise. Too funky for my liking, but the wood they use is usually stunning....
