Charlie Sexton, Arc Angels

Post by danbind »

I was in Austin a couple weeks back, saw Arc Angels at the Continental Club. Charlie Sexton played a Fireglo 12 (330? vintage 360?) on a few songs, although Doyle's volume tended to drown him out. Sorry for the pic quality, taken with my lousy phone:

I did a Youtube search on them, and came across this appearance on Letterman from waaaayyyy back, with Charlie playing the same guitar:

I caught these guys last night in Dallas at the House of Blues. Sexton always plays the 330 FG on "Living In A Dream".

Great show. Charlie Sexton played a different guitar on almost every song, but none more beautiful than the RIC !!!

Will is Charlie's brother, Jerry.
