A good tune, even if you don't like them . . .

Post by miltric »

Sleater-Kinney have been discussed a few times on this forum in the not-too-distant past, but I don't believe this video has ever been posted. Apparently they're an acquired taste, but I suspect even folks who don't like them might be able to sit through this fun two-and-a-half minute rocker. Near the end, Carrie Brownstein sort of presents her Rick to the camera for all the world to behold its Jet-glo(ry).

I love Sleater-Kinney - it was a bad day when they announced their split.

Had the pleasure of seeing them live (London, 2003) - amazing!

I know they didn't have a bassist, but to fair, you wouldn't have noticed - and I'm a bassist.

Carrie used to use a Ric loads - another good reason to like them. I'd recommend any of their LP's, not a bad one amongst them. :D :D :D

Fact Fans - Janet (their excellent drummer) now plays with Stephen Malkmus (ex-Pavement) And The Jicks
