RIP Bob Bogle

Post by rickenbrother »

This morning I heard that Bob Bogle of The Ventures passed away.
The Ventures was a band that inspired me to be a musician. Thanks for the great music, Bob. RIP. :(

Very sad; Rest In Peace.

A band I was in had the privilege of opening for the Ventures at the Palomino club in N. Hollywood back in the late 80s. The band was great and all the members were quite the gentlemen, signing our recrods, et cetera. :D

A gift I value greatly is a copy of The Ventures Walk Don't Run Vol 2 that the band autographed for me..Mel had passed at that point. The model on the cover (Nancy Bacon) who was married to Don Wilson at the time the Lp first was released signed it also. The members of The Ventures are really a family....
