In the clip linked below, The Archies play "Jingle Jangle" in a live action movie based on the cartoon characters and their band. Archie plays a Tele, Reggie plays a lefty Rickenbacker bass!
What's more, the Ricky gets more love than the Tele. Near the end of the clip, the band gets interrupted and they rush off to save the school or the world or something. Archie drops the Tele on the stage floor, but Reggie carefully props the Ricky up against the amplifier!

Last part of the clip shows it to be a leftie 4001 with skunk stripe (shedua) which dates it between '72 and '80ish.
