Nice comp!

Gotta say, they sounded great and the vocals were ACE. Closed your eyes it sounds just like Robert Plant.

One issue though---playing Zeppelin on a strat should be illegal! (nothing wrong with strats, but it just goes against the whole Zep grain)

You know quite a few of the later records had a strat on them though, right? (the Lemon song excluded, but still... lol)

I think they have it down! Thanks Jeff, a good way to start the day.

Regardless of if they were used or not - It is a little strange seeing the strat and tele, for that matter, in the Zep genera - doesn't match the posters i used to have.

Check, but the Tele wasn't on my poster!

Note - the Telecaster is one of my Fave electric guitars.

Yep, and if you listen closely---the first album does sound like a cranked Tele. People's imaginations take over. Page's Dragon tele was way cool.

I didn't know about the strat later on though! Are you talking like Houses of the Holy era? In any case, they started branching out later on, so I can see where a strat would fill in nicely. Earlier it was predominantly heavy riff-driven blues that suit an LP perfectly.

I'll drink to that. Bonham was great, but I'm strangely glad in some ways...I'd be afraid to see what came next.

A little late here because I am in Paris. This is the guy Zep should use to replace Plant.
