He didn't bring his Ric tonight but....

Post by marc61 »

Mitch Easter was AWESOME at Maxwell's in Hoboken NJ tonight. Many songs from Dynamico, and some Let's Active tunes....VERY heavy set. I loved it, and my son was very inspired by it. He has guitar in hand now trying to learn some Mitch licks. Mitch and the band along with stunning songwriter Amy Speace will be performing tomorrow night, Friday August 21st at The Garage in Winston Salem NC if anyone is in the area.

Sorry about the bad pics, they're from my camera phone. My son is hoping someone can identify the red guitar for us. We loved it but, not familiar with it.

Mitch is great. I had the pleasure of interviewing him a while back.

I think the red guitar is made by a company called Hallmark. The model is the "Swept Wing" guitar, or that's what people called it.

They made them in the late '60's.

Pretty cool!

Totally correct! I would add that Bob Shade is currently making re-issues of the Swept Wing, amongst a range of interesting instruments.

Some very nice RIC content in that one....Thanks Mitch!

This one probably should be moved over to the RICENBACKER ARTISTS section just for future reference.

I'll let it run its course and then move it over at a later date.
