Just heard that Larry Knetchel who was a renound session musician and in 70s a member of Bread passed away on Aug 20th.
Only David Gates remains from Bread now,or to be specific the Bread that founf fame, Mike Botts, James Griffin have both passed away.
Robb Royer who was on first Bread album is still alive I believe

I didn't realize most of the band was gone. I saw them live in OKC years back. Nowadays I don't find I care too much for the music, though in HS it seemed they were constantly on the radio.

Knechtel was also the guy who played bass on the Byrds' Mr Tambourine Man record, and piano on Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, to mention just two classic tracks...

I was always a bit of a closet Bread fan..there tunes were well crafted and performed....
