Found: One Holy Grail

Post by rick_ovic »

I received a call today from one very excited Forum member, who has just acquired a bass which many of us would kill for. I didn't kill him myself, because I already have an example of the same model bass from the same year. It is with his approval that I post this thread.

The challenge: Who is the forum member? What holy grail did he find?

Hmm Just a wild guess Trotty of course. My answer is Dave Pascoe and he found a RM 1999 bass? Close?

Nope, not Graham, although Graham doesn't have one of these models in his extensive collection.

I love that edit button. Amazing how you can change history!

Congratulations, Brett. You've added an incredibly rare bass to your growing Rickenbacker collection.

For everyone else's benefit, Brett is a first class nice guy, who is a load of fun to hang out with, a dedicated family man and will do anything to help out a mate.

He is fully deserving of this fabulous trophy.
