Found: One Holy Grail
I received a call today from one very excited Forum member, who has just acquired a bass which many of us would kill for. I didn't kill him myself, because I already have an example of the same model bass from the same year. It is with his approval that I post this thread.

Hmm Just a wild guess Trotty of course. My answer is Dave Pascoe and he found a RM 1999 bass? Close?

Nope, not Graham, although Graham doesn't have one of these models in his extensive collection.winston wrote:Oh then it must be Graham who found an RM 1999.............well I'll be...................where on earth would he find one of those?

Congratulations, Brett. You've added an incredibly rare bass to your growing Rickenbacker collection.
For everyone else's benefit, Brett is a first class nice guy, who is a load of fun to hang out with, a dedicated family man and will do anything to help out a mate.
He is fully deserving of this fabulous trophy.
