Re: Eggmen
This is the best version I have seen Ronn and all do.
I love the posterized mirrored segment ending back to clean video with a mic stand right where the mirrored point was. Great editing.

Re: Eggmen
Hey, this is pretty cool. I've been away from the computer for a while.
This video is a few years old(and I was 75 lbs. heavier then), here's the story:
Austin has a performing arts high school(McCallum) and they always have a great orchestra. They were having a fundraiser concert and invited us to be the "star" attraction. It took place in the school's auditorium. We did one set of early Beatles, took a break for costume/guitars change, then a set of later Beatles with the orchestra.
We've since performed several big shows with them, including one last year at Austin's historic Paramount Theatre(a great old theatre, I saw Roger McGuinn there many years ago). The last couple of shows we've done with them we played a few "odd" tunes, like "Piggies", that was fun.
The next show with the orchestra is scheduled for February 2010, at the Paramount. Can't wait, it's hard work(lots of rehearsals) but the payoff is fantastic. When you're on stage and that orchestra behind you comes in on the first song, it's amazingly powerful.
This video features our long-time drummer David Fore, who retired from the band about 3 years ago but still plays with us a few times a year as a sub. In fact he filled in at last night's show. Some of you may know his one-hit-wonder band from the 60s, Bubble Puppy. They had a top-20 hit "Hot Smoke & Sassafrass".

You may have posted them before Ronn, but a first for me. Too cool. Bubble Puppy was big here in the 'Zoo back in the day. A lot of airplay.

Re: Eggmen
David Fore was also in Demian! Basically what Bubble Puppy evolved into. Check that LP out if you've never heard it. Good stuff.
Ronn was cool enough to put me in touch with him a couple of years back so I could get my hero worship geek hat on. It was much appreciated.
