My new band rehearsing an original song of mine
Note for moderators: I realise I haven't followed the guidelines, i.e. this does not feature an embedded YouTube video, but after YouTube inexplicably rejected my video several times, I had to resort to DailyMotion. Hope this is OK.
This is a clip of my recently formed new band in the practice room. It was only our third full rehearsal so it#s still a little rough round the edges but I'm really happpy with the way the band is coming together in general.
We're based in Tenerife, Canary islands and quite an international bunch. Members are ...
Me (from the UK): lead vocals / guitar
Fernando (from Tenerife): drums / backing vocals
Lars (from Germany): guitar / backing vocals
Ulises (from Argentina): bass / backing vocals
Hope you enjoy watching ...

(If you're too quick, it might still be processing and give you an error message and you'll just need to pop back later)

That's cool, Richard! Is that your original song? I like it. You guys are off to a good start.

Thanks very much to both.
Yes, Kira, that's my song. Here's my original demo of it ...

Really nice song and what looks to be a nice practice space.
A funny story from when I use to play in bands. We use to practice in the basement of an old house (this was around 1982). The basement flooded when it rained hard so we would elevate the gear on 4 x 4s and just practice away (I know...dumb). I was playing my bass and I thought I had a cramp in my finger because every time I lifted it off the string it would plop back down. It took my feeble brain about 30 seconds to process that one of my feet was in water and I was being shocked! Man, those were the days of youth <LOL>.
Anyway, great video!!!

Great story, Eoin!
We practice in our guitarist's converted garage. Little chance of flooding though becasue we're nicely perched on the side of Mount Teide at about 1,300 ft. In fact, this came past us the other week and we remained unscathed ...

Nice song. I'm loving the crescendo around the 3 minute mark.

Thanks, Noel. I've only known these guys about a month but I'm really enjoying the new band so far.
