I've moved a few FL threads from the original Rickenbacker Basses forum to this one. I'll leave the shadow topics in place for a little bit in the original Rickenbacker Basses forum.

INDEED, thanks Peter and thanks to you Joey...I'm SURE not qualified to help host this section, and I'm humbled to be asked...I'll try my best to keep things on topic, but between John, Josh & Joey, & Jeff, and all you other fretless players out there...I hope to be a better player....in celebration, I'll bring my 4003FL FG out live again tomorrow! 8)

The books aren't so much of a problem, but as I posted in the amplifier forum, my wife's plates on the diningroom wall are another issue. Actually, I finally lugged out my guitar amp to complete my stereo rig. Bridge pickup on the right, neck on the left.

I need to get some cases and such cleaned out of there to spread it out. The books may yet be in danger:
