Nice, very rare. I'd also like to go down on record saying that I think this is the best finish Rickenbacker ever produced.

Edit: looking at the photo's, the string action on this is sky high,,,could be neck issues. :?:

Did all 21 fretters have the bridge moved ahead like that?

Yes. The bridge is moved forward to compensate the extra fret I beleve. It all has to do with "scale length".

That dark Burgundy is one of my favorite RIC finishes.

#1,the eggplant color with all the trimmings is one of the most gorgeous ricks ever, partly due to the color of rickenbackers fretboard material being a great match for that burgandy.

Whoa, the string action sure looks scary! I hope it's only because the bridge is adjusted way too high, which any sane person wouldn't do! :mrgreen:

Snapping back to reallity,,,,Grant's bass has been here on the forum for quite a while. Its a shame he has to sell it. I hope all is well Grant.
