Janglebox buzz

Post by Eoin »

Hi everyone,

I'm getting some buzz when I'm running through a Janglebox.

The two amps I've ran it through are a Vox VX and an Orange Crush.

Any suggetions other than buying a new amp?

Thanks!

Eoin

If memory serves me well, the JB uses reverse polarity on the external power jack.

Try a fresh 9-volt battery with any external power supply disconnected.

I know, I know.... none of us are that stoopid, but I've solved many a problem with active pickup equipment just by putting in a fresh battery.

That particular box also seems to prefer being plugged into the amp input rather than being part of any effects loop according to a few other sources.

Have there been any issues with the adapter from Janglebox and buzz?

Thanks for the input and I agree, sometimes the most obvious is the best route to take!
