Re: How can I find out witch model of Rickenbaker I have
Hi Kjell, welcome!
On Rickenbacker's site there's a decoder for serial numbers: http://www.rickenbacker.com/service_serials.asp (July 1974)
As for what model, check this page http://www.rickenbacker.com/model_all.asp?series=all or post an image

Welcome, Kjell!
The date of manufacture of your guitar is a little to early for the Ruby finish (see the Finish Time Line here: http://www.the-music-connection.com/ricinfo.htm#fin). Ruby is actually a metallic finish that is opaque (you can't see the wood grain through it). It is more likley that yours (assuming that it hasn't been refinished) is actually Burgundy (like a dark cherry, transparent so that you can see the wood grain through it).
Posting a picture would certainly be helpful for us to help you out.

Not? Weird... it shoudl work with or without space in the serial code.kjellho wrote:I do not get a answar from the decoder
As for price - try following some eBay auctions on your country's eBay, plus a few surrounding countries. It will usually give you an idea as to what your guitar will be worth. Things like actual state and how original it is (any custom parts, or bad modifications, original paintjob or not) have their influence on the price, of course.
If you could post a snapshot of the guitar it might help some of the pros here to determine a rough USD price

Re: How can I find out witch model of Rickenbaker I have
Hei, Kjell Roger
I would ask the question in the appraisal forum http://rickresource.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17
