Of all the 3001 basses that I've seen so far, this has to be my favorite one.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

There are 2 in the register, the one that's for sale (which you can't find in a search right now because I just updated it with the new location/ebay ID) and this one:

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Will ship immediately upon receiving payment (in time for Christmas).

Well, it's true, considering Christmas 2010 is a few months out...

The most important question is: where are the side dots?
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Yes, that is a good question since a previous owner apparently put them there themselves.

Oh, I missed that. I assumed there would have been factory side dots. Seller says that they were "in the right place," but doesn't say where that is or provide pictures. One could construe that lining them up with the fingerboard dots is "in the right place," but it ain't.

Request a pic? Most likely they are in line with the fret positions on a tempered scale and there is probably one for every fret like other vintage Ric FLs.FretlessOnly wrote:Oh, I missed that. Oh, I was just waxing...I just bought a nice '76 Precision FL, so I'm not exactly in the market.

I believe this bass was on ebay a while back..
Here are some pic's I saved from the seller showing the side dot markers
IIRC it sold for around $1,500 +- last time.
Nice mod.
