350v63 observation

Post by clearblue »

My 2008 fireglo 350v63 has a wood strip on the back of the neck that runs for the length. I have seen other 350v63 models that do not have this and was wondering why. I think it looks great on Fireglo and Mapleglo. Also, the location of the machine heads seem to vary slightly in position on other guitars of this model.

I'm thinking the walnut stripe on the 350V63's neck is a fairly recent addition. 2008 sounds about right. Mine is a 2001 and it doesn't have one.

Thanks for the info. I had seen photos of a blueburst 350v63 and that didnt have one either. I think it was manufactured in '05 or '06.

You can determine your guitar's date of manufacture by inputting your serial number here.
