PLexi TRC touch-up

Post by jkl56 »

Bought a plexi trc from fellow member white in color. It needs to be touched up where some of the paint is missing. What is the best way to do it and what
type of paint should i use?
Thanks

I've never tried it, but I hear Liquid Paper does a nice job of touching up TRC white.

What about minor touch up of black lettering on a modern TRC (string scrape from removing the cover during truss rod adjustment I suspect)?

Welcome, Flatland Charley!

A little dab of Testor's model paint should do the trick. (Available at hobby stores or just about anywhere model toys are sold.) A paint pencil in black or Ebony would give better control, but those are more difficult to come by and more expensive.

Thanks Ron. Great forum. Longtime player, first time RIC owner (2004 360/12 FG) after many many years of hoping to someday own one.

If Wints takes the TRC off DH163 he will see my touch up from the 70s.....Tippex and a black mapping pen.
