I'm not so sure I like it, but it's certainly a one-off.
There's more, including a Weller Whaam! custom paint job in the home page.

Aw, it's not bad. I wouldn't want one in a chrome finish however. It would always remind me of the time my parents bought an aluminum Christmas tree.

Imagine trying to keep it free from fingerprints?

I think it was this kinda stuff:

We call it "chrome-in-a-can" down here, as found at all the local auto parts stores.

"Chrome in a Can" can't be clearcoated, and thus is touchy and fingerprints--permanently--like crazy. It also wears off in handling within minutes.
The pro car guys use Alsa Killer-Chrome, which can be clear coated and fingerprints wipe off. It's quite durable (unfortunately...). I think that this is what the guitar uses, because it looks clear-coated.

Oh, a 16-ounce bottle is about $275.00...spray can kit is $115.00.

From his profile page:

I don't know much about guitars as you can tell, but my philosophy is simple. If you want a guitar that looks good, get a Rickenbacker. If you want one that plays well and sounds good, buy anything else.

Funny, I was just thinking about you...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

That's classic.
(I wholeheartedly disagree.....but that's classic!)
