Recommended Rickenbacker techs in Melbourne, AUSTRALIA

Post by d.a.calf »

Hi all,
Just seeing if anyone can recommend someone in Melbourne, Australia to do a little job on my 2002 330/12.
I need to source and fit a 6 string nut and I don't fancy risking the lacquer job.
I no longer play the guitar as a 12 string and need to get a bit more width out of the nut.
Thanks for any help.

Hi David.

I'd give Eastgate Music in Balwyn a call. Marcello (the proprietor) and Blair (the technician) are both Rickenbacker fans and have looked after me whenever I've needed a bit of work done.

I hear a lot of good things about Soundworks in Ringwood also but I've never availed myself of their services. I've heard raps for Guitar Emporium in Albert Park also.

Perhaps a couple of other Melbourne members with chime in with their recommendations.

Welcome to the forum, BTW. :D :D
