Your 'Bucket List' Rick

Post by Scastles »

What one Rick would you like to have over all others in your lifetime, and why? Your choice must come from existing models, not one you would like to see made in the future in a particular finish.
Guitar, bass or steel, any one, but ONLY ONE.

My needs are simple, ahem, a '63 360.

I suppose you can lust after the original model of many noted celebrity Rick players, but then it becomes more of a fantasy I would think. :D

Note: Some of the fine members on this forum have already acquired (and maybe sold) what some of us may only dream about.

Combo 600 or 800. Why should bass players get all the horsies?

John, George's was a '63, but that's okay because you can't have it, you already picked the FG 360 F first!!

Damn, can't anybody read the directions :D

There's one here right now from a new UK member. A '73 4001 in MG with a toaster and checkered binding.

A January '73 4001 in that "solid" (non-burst) Walnut stain they occasionally did (I would say a '71, but Walnut wasn't offered until '73):

Like this but with MOP inlays, checkerboard, aluminum tailpiece, the whole damn thing...incidentally I'd refinish my '72 like this if I had the money.

Classic early '70s 4001? Check!

Modern 4003? Check!

Gee, we aren't getting very far here, are we?

The experimental Jetglo '60s 4001 with two toaster pickups and 4005 style pickguard! That's the ONE!!! 8)

My needs are simple - virtually any 330.

I forever kick myself for not buying a DG in GC several years ago when they were under a grand.
