R.I.P. Micky Jones(no,not that one)

No not Mick Jones of the Clash or Mick Jones of Foreigner,

I am talking about the passing of Micky Jones of the legendary welsh rock band Man.

That's a drag, but at least I finally got to see and hear this elusive band. People have been telling me about them for some time.

They sounds like later period Move, a little tiny bit. That is, if The Move were much, much more jammy.

I really liked Man from the first time I heard some of their work on Pandora, when I was working at KU in 2008. Good stuff--and Welsh even. RIP.

There was also a Mickie Jones in the 70's rock band, Angel.
