this piece for sale looks like the front of an aluminum cast bridge, but the comb is too crowned, it is too thick a casting and really cannot mute strings as it is not attached to anything. could be from a cast faker tailpiece and was cut off or belonged to something entirely different. maybe rickenbacker copied their tailpiece mute from whatever this was back in the early sixties. adjust screws are wrong for rick. notice we don't get to see a pic of the other side (note the machined casting bubble in the middle of the face.)

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
