The T-Bones

Post by elreydlp »

OK George-this space has been kind of quiet. Here's one I just posted on SG101 as well. Collin-I tried your youtube tip. It was taking forever to download. That must take up a lot of space-digital as well as physical. Anyhow, click on this:

BTW, the song was originally cut by the Wrecking Crew-LA's first call studio guys. Rumor has it that Carol Kaye and Tommy Tedesco changed chairs with Tommy playing bass and Carol on guitar. The band in the video was put together for touring after the song became a hit. Has anyone ever played in a band like that or know someone who has? Sorry-no Rics, but you gotta love those Mosrites.

Been years since I've heard that song. What a performance, both on the stage...and in front of it.

Sure brings back fond memories! I first heard "No Matter What Shape Your Stomach's In" on that old Alka-Seltzer television commercial back in the '60s. Great tune!
