Hi Guitar

A friend passed this along to me. Take a look at these knock off's. I can't speak for the quality, but at least in the pictures they look accurate. Amazing the sheer number and types of guitars they are copying - you can even get a knock off of an Epiphone (why?). Didn't see any Ricks in there. The Gibson custom even come with a Gibson certificate of authenticity, and the Gretsch's say made in the USA on the back of the headstock (although they have humbuckers rather than filtertrons).
Very scary - e-bay buyers beware!

Yikes...

If you were looking for a project guitar starting point, these might be the business. Still, the real guitar companies should protect their copyrights with a bit more vigor.

Something tells me that they wouldn't have any kind of ethical problem putting pictures of real Gibsons on their webpage.

Intellectual property is a foreign concept to profit-driven Asian manufactories.
