Did I damge the Horshoe?

today oh well I was trying to take the plastic horshoe cover and what happen was when I was trying to put the pickup with the screws under the pickup came up. I cant explain it. you know it went up. LIke i can see the orange things that look like wires. I mean when I put it and the strings the volume was low. and when i press it down it would go normal and when i let go the volume went down again. did I damage the pickup? can this be fixed? please help!!!! :( :(

If you can see the orange copper winding, somehow the bobbin must have separated – or?
Photos would help.
