The Frantics from Seattle, WA scored with this hit..guitar break owes to Link Wray. Years later The Ventures covered the song..changed the name to The Fourth Dimension and released on their classic The Ventures In Space Lp.

One of my all-time favorite Ventures cuts, from my all-time favorite Ventures album. I still have my original Dolton Stereo copy from the summer of '64.
A bucket "T" is a lousy make-out car...no leg room!!!

The couple in the "T" had to be sectioned like the car...I think about a foot taken out somewhere between hips and toes would do it.
The only way to drive that bucket "T" is with knees splayed and wrapped around the (vertical) steering column to reach the pedals, which sort of sit flat on the floor. The seat cushion is typically less than 9" thick and about 36" wide...Ridiculously uncomfortable and dangerous to boot. The one passenger would sit on the cushion with knees to one side or other to protect her reputation. If she was of normal height--taller than Natalie Wood but shorter than Wendy O. Williams, sitting straight up, her knees would be around her ears...and let's not go there, OK?
