Sticky Question

Post by kenposurf »

Paul,
I'm trying to clean up an old Ovation guitar that has what looks to be a couple of spots of dried glue on the top near where the bridge was re-set. The guitar looks to have a fairly thick clear coat and am wondering if using a bit of lighter fluid to clean these spots might work?
It a nice playing guitar but no collectors piece by any means.
Thanks for any help!
