Cool Skip..I've devoted a thread or two earlier on here re: The Helecasters..I love some of their stuff..and some gets a little too math rock for me..that said I could listen to Will Ray all day long..nice guy also

Will is a great guy. He's bought several effects pedals from me over the years, and when I was in "the biz" I hung out with him at NAMM.
I describe his solo style as being like a guy running full speed towards the edge of a cliff, taking the leap, then catching himself by the toenail and saving himself. I swear he gets so close to losing it-and then manages to pull it off.
I first became aware of Will on a record called "A Town South of Bakersfield". It was a compilation disc of then-new LA country & cow-punk artists including an up-and-comer named Dwight Yokam.
