It went well.It sesms that our hostess is an aspiring drummer, who is having lessons and is in a neophyte band.
They opened with 4\the 4 songe they have down pat.
We played 2 long sets(steak in between!) and then opened it up to anyone who wanted to sit in.
Several did but the star of the evening was 12 yr.old boy who took to the drum set and his song of choice was Smoke on the Water. His letter perfect drumming amazed and impressed all there, including the band.
That sorta ended the night's playing,as no one wanted to follow that act.(Including our own drummer)
The lad clearly has a career in store for him.
