show your headstocks!

Post by hieronymous »

I started a thread like this at the Alembic forum, and although there's more variety in Alembic headstocks, Rickenbackers certainly have their own charm and variation, even if we only stick with 4001's and 4003's. So let's see 'em!!!

I'll start with my '76 4001:

And here's an artsy shot with the Hipstamatic app for the iPhone:

The only rule I would like to suggest is that you only post pics of basses you either own or have own.

I think I commented on this one on your facebook, but I just noticed the water in the background! Nice! (And the headstock is beautiful of course!)

Definitely a good thing! The comparison engine is amazing. But I thought it would be fun to share here!

Thanks. I may have more side by side shots, but I was under the impression only headstocks were welcome...let me know if you want more!

Can we have everything louder than everything else?

We might have to have a separate "comparison shot" thread! Let's keep this one to headstocks...

Ron, it is very interesting to see how different our two 4005 headstocks are.
