Thanks for reply..I looked at that wireing diagram,,,I see where the pickups hook up..but I dont see where the mono/stereo jacks hookup to the pots..my wireing harness that I got from Ric. for the RCA jacks have 3 wires..one grey wire with 2 wires in it,one ground and one hot wire..the other wire has one wire in it..so I looked at the Ric schmatic and I cant make heads or tells of where to hook these wires for the mono/stereo jacks..so if someone can draw the set up that would be great..thanks again Larry :?:

Maybe some of the more knowledgeable "electrics guys" on the Forum might be able to chime in and help you...

Yes, a bass, 4 control, two pickups. Yes it has ROS. The jack with the two long shielded wires is the mono one. The wire with the shield lead goes to the treble volume pot like in the schematic. The other wire without the shield wire showing goes to the bass volume pot like in the schematic. Consult the pic I posted and the linked schematic to figure where to solder.

Here's a pic of my '72 360 S/12:

Standard wiring. I think the original owner swapped in the orange drops before I bought it, but nothing else has been changed as far as I can tell.

Here's the original naked pick guard from my '64 375. You can't see it, but the 0.0047uF series bridge PU cap is under one of the tone caps.

Can you post a pic of your wiring? Do you have a ohm-meter of some sort (any cheap DMM will do)? If so, you can check for gross things like the pickup being open or short.

Also, what exactly are you doing or fixing on the guitar and what worked or didn't work before hand?
If it is to be, it is up to me.
